SPW, together with Peter Moeck Architecture, are pleased to announce we have been awarded first place in the 2017 Learning Environments Australasia Awards, in the Renovation and Modernisations under $2 million category, for work completed on the Early Learning Centre.
The awards focus on recognising excellence in combining design thinking with educational practice, allowing new learning environments to emerge that support teaching and learning to occur.
The re-design of the Early Learning Centre was led by David Brock, Business Manager and Gemma D’Angelo, Head of Early Years, together with Peter Moeck Architecture with the re-launch of the ELC in February 2016.
SPW is pleased to be recognized alongside other educational institutions, including Flinders University, Adelaide High and Pulteney Grammar, as it highlights our commitment to ensure SPW maintains exceptional building and grounds that support children to meet educational outcomes.
Today our ELC students enjoy the beautiful spaces available, with the Pier Street Playspace and the Village Square ranking highly as favourite spaces to enjoy.
