How wonderful it was to see St Margaret’s Chapel filled with past and present students at our week 7 Chapel service.

It certainly was a day of celebrations, acknowledging both St Margaret and SPW’s 20 Year Anniversary. The service began with a procession of banners, with the organ playing St Margaret’s hymn and finished with a lively song called Friends in high places. The Chapel Choir was, as always, amazing!

Our guest speaker, Old Scholar Craig Dand (2004), shared his memories and special times at SPW. Craig was an Inaugural SPW School Captain and talked about the wonderful opportunities and challenges he experienced during his time at SPW.

Grace, Brianna, James, Sienna, Isla, Sienna, Alyssa, Ebony and Ruby with Louise.

Louise Sorrell (President of the SPW Old Scholars’ Association) presented the 4 Year of Choir Service and Music Captains Awards, kindly donated by the Old Scholars.

Jo, Vivienne (Past SPW Deputy Principal) and Helen.

After the Chapel service Mother Julia conducted Communion which was well received by the Woodlands Old Scholars as part of their St Margaret’s Day tradition.

It was a lovely coming together of our community.

Thank you to Meredith, Community Development Manager, for sharing this story.
