The Big Concert concluded the year’s celebration of 20 Years of St Peter’s Woodlands.

Across the year we have marked the occasion with numerous activities and events; the Birthday Assembly and Chapel Service, the fence-line art installation, a staff morning tea, numerous stories from the SPW Community and to conclude the year, The Big Concert.

The annual concert was held at the beautiful Woodville Town Hall and fittingly themed, The SPW 20 Year Anniversary. As friends and family took their seats, excited children waited in the wings, ready to show off their well-rehearsed performances to loved ones. The concert began with a slide show, taking the audience on a trip down memory lane – showcasing how SPW has grown and evolved over the last 20 Years.

From there, the night showcased a plethora of talent with performances from Show Choir, Chapel Choir and Glee, performances from SPW Old Scholars, Instrumental Ensemble and Band pieces and to finish the night, a big number from the Community Choir with staff, parents, Old Scholars and the students. It truly was a spectacular night of celebrations and a great finale to SPW’s 20 Year Anniversary.

The students demonstrated such dedication in preparing for the concert, and it was wonderful to see them on stage so full of energy and pride as they shared with the community their hard work.

Thank you to The Arts Department for sharing this story.
