Out of School Hours Care Program
SPW provides an exceptional service for families requiring Out of School Hours Care.
The SPW OSHC Service focuses on developing healthy relationships with students and their families. Incorporating aspects of 21st Century learning and teaching into the program, the program is designed to provide children a large breadth of opportunities, and ensures activities are tailored to the strengths and interests of the children.
Before School Care 7:00-8:15am
After School Care 3:15-6:30pm
Term Operating Dates
Term 3 – Tues 25 July – Fri 29 Sept 2017
Term 4 – Mon 16 Oct – Wed 13 Dec 2017
The program is facilitated in the SPW Library Seminar room.
The OSHC Program
The OSHC program caters for children’s needs before and after school as well as during term breaks. SPW OSHC facilitates a child centred learning program which enables children to:
-Engage in areas of strength or interest
-Create and design
-Share their experiences and understandings
-Develop new friendships
-Rest and recharge

SPW OSHC Service has submitted an application to become a registered CCB and CCR Service. The transfer of Service from Camp Australia to SPW is only finalised after the SPW OSHC Service has commenced operating in Term 3. As a result, the initial rebates, benefits and invoicing may be delayed until the transfer has been recognised by the Government.
So that CCB and CCR can be automatically applied to your account, you will need to provide your Centrelink Customer Reference Number/s (CRN/s) during the enrolment process. These can be obtained from the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.
Enroling for SPW Out of School Hours Care Program
At SPW we manage all OSHC enrolments, bookings and enquiries through an online booking and wait-list management service called My Family Lounge.
What can I do in My Family Lounge?
- Register your child and manage your bookings and enquiries
- Request changes to days your child is booked
- See live availability of places and book casual days
- Manage one or more children from a single log in
- Provide detailed information about your child, including medical information, dietary requirements, emergency contact details
- Flag your child as absent
Please be aware, you must re-enrol via My Family Lounge, even if you have been using the Camp Australia Service in the past, and submit all necessary information through the new system.
Register for My Family Lounge – New Families
For new families to SPW OSHC, who have not used My Family Lounge before, click on Register Now. You will be taken through a registration process to create your My Family Lounge account for the SPW OSHC Service. Once registration is complete, you will be able to start the enrolment process.
Have you Used My Family Lounge before?
For NEW families to SPW OSHC, who have used My Family Lounge before, sign in to your My Family Lounge account and you will be able to start the enrolment process.
Once you have registered for My Family Lounge you will be able to enrol your child and make bookings. If you request permanent bookings through My Family Lounge, we will come back to you and advise if we have a place available for your child. If we have a place, we will email you an offer and ask you to accept the offer.
Booking in for Casual Days
Complete the My Family Lounge registration process above. Log in to your account and follow the prompts to create Casual Bookings. Alternatively download the My Family App on your Iphone or Android. Log into the My Family App and access the online calendar, select the days you want to book your child in and confirm your booking.
