As a popular and constantly growing school, we recommend submitting an application for your child as soon as you can.
There are four easy steps to enrol at St Peter’s Woodlands.
Step 1 — Tour our school
The best way to learn about the school and see if it’s right for your child and family is to come and see. We regularly offer Principal Tours with Helen Finlay and Open Days for our Early Learning Centre. Or book a personal tour at a time that’s best for you with Jo, our Enrolments Manager.
Simply complete your online application form to be placed on our database. At this stage we also need a copy of your child’s birth certificate and charge a $95 application fee. We’ll confirm your application by email..
If a place is available for your child we’ll email you a letter of offer. You’ll have a couple of weeks to accept the offer and secure your place with a $500 deposit. If we can’t offer your child the place you wanted, we will still let you know and keep them on the waitlist.
Step 4 — An enrolment interview
It’s exciting that you’ve chosen St Peter’s Woodlands so we’ll meet with your family and child to get to know you and explain the transition and support you’ll get as a new member of our community.
We offer an intake for new students at the start of every year, and there are minimum ages for these intakes:
Children must be 2 to start at the Early Learning Centre in our First Steps Program
Children must be 3 by 30th April to start at the Early Learning Centre in our Emerging Learners Program
Children must be 4 by 30th April to start at the Early Learning Centre in our Preschool Program
Children must be 5 by 30 April to start in Reception, this is the first year of formal schooling.
Children who turn 5 before 30 June to start in the Mid-Year Reception class. Children who begin in the Mid-Year class will have 6 terms in Reception.
