Recently the Year 3 students begun exploring the transdisciplinary theme ‘The Physical World’.

This unit encourages students to explore ideas of growth, change over time, and life cycles. To help make the learning more personal, each student brought in a photo of themselves aged 1–2 years old. The class then took part in an engaging guessing game, trying to match the baby photos to their classmates.

The activity prompted plenty of interest and conversation, as students noticed how physical features have changed over time. It was a thoughtful way to connect their own experiences with the broader concepts of transformation and life stages.
