Term 3 PFA Wrap Up

25 September 2025

Another term of community and celebration.

Showdown Donut Day
The PFA kicked off Term 3 (pun intended!) with another fantastic Showdown Donut Day. It was a fun way for everyone to show their team colours in the lead-up to the big game. A huge thank you to Unique Homestyle Foods for supplying 358 delicious donuts, and to Jess Hodges for organising the day. We’re also grateful to Tiff Noble, Sophie Flint, and Bec Stevens for delivering all those sweet treats to the classrooms!

Father’s Day Breakfast
We were thrilled to host our much-loved Father’s Day Breakfast, featuring warm ham and cheese croissants, sweet muffins, and juices. It was a joy to see so many families gathering to share breakfast, have a kick of the footy, or enjoy a skip and a coffee before the school day.

A massive thank you to our amazing Year 5 PFA reps — Michelle Costello, Suzy Donnellan, and Lorraine Hanley — and to their wonderful volunteers Tania Yeowart and Carrie Jones, who were up bright and early preparing everything before the sun had even risen!

We hope all our dads had a truly memorable Father’s Day.

Burger and Beer Night
On Friday evening, 46 dads gathered at the Glenelg Club for a fantastic Burger and Beer Night. A big shout-out to Chris Morley for organising such a fun evening — filled with great company, plenty of laughs, and a brilliant community spirit. The event raised an impressive $1,326 for our school — well done, everyone!

Pre-Show Musical Refreshments
In support of the school musical, The Sound of Music, the PFA offered families the opportunity to gather and connect over a beverage before the show began. It was a wonderful way to kick start a night of entertainment for our families. Well done to all those involved in the musical, once again, it was an absolutely fabulous production of a crowd favourite.

Monday Afternoon BBQ
Our Monday afternoon BBQs have continued to sizzle this term, with many completely selling out!
We’re always looking for volunteers to help keep the tongs turning — if you’re available from 2:00–2:15pm on Mondays and have your volunteer clearance, we’d love your help. With the fridge stocked and ready, all you need to do is fire up the BBQ!

Term 4 Events & Activities
We’ve got an exciting line-up of events to wrap up the year:

  • Mum’s Movie Night
  • Teacher Appreciation Day Morning Tea
  • Christmas on the Green
  • Christmas Raffle
  • Whole School Christmas Lunch
  • ELC Christmas Brunch

It’s shaping up to be a joyful and festive end to the school year — stay tuned for more details!
