Student Wellbeing & Behaviour Support Coordinator

The Opportunity
The Student Wellbeing & Behaviour Support Coordinator is a newly created role, which will play a key role in supporting student wellbeing, behaviour and engagement across the school. The position focuses on implementing proactive and responsive strategies to support students’ social, emotional and behavioural development.

This role works closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), staff, students and families to promote a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment, underpinned by our bespoke Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework.

The position is full-time 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday working during school terms only. Ideally the successful candidate will commence from Week 4 Term 2 with the position available until the end of the 2026 School Year.

 What you’ll be doing

  • Providing targeted support for students with diverse needs, including those with trauma backgrounds ASD, PDA, and ADHD ensuring a responsive and inclusive approach.
  • Working collaboratively with staff and the leadership team to effectively implement behaviour support strategies across the school.
  • Proactively identifying and responding to emerging wellbeing or behavioural concerns in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Supporting students’ wellbeing and behaviour needs through the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework, using appropriate regulation strategies and tools.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed wellbeing and behaviour records within the school database, ensuring consistency and confidentiality.
  • Providing meaningful social and emotional mentoring to support student growth and engagement.
  • Liaising and working in partnership with families as required to support positive student outcomes.

OSHC Qualified Educator

OSHC Qualified Educators

We are seeking passionate, energetic & organised leaders to join our OSHC leadership team. Our OSHC Qualified Educators are responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of the OSHC and ensuring a high standards of student care, service delivery, cleanliness and operational efficiency. The service which is open 49 weeks a year, is a valuable and integral part of our school and we welcome children from Reception to Year 6. This is a casual position paying $39 per hour.

Key skills and knowledge include:

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with children and families in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner.
  • Ability to model and develop positive behaviour strategies with children.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children and foster their social and emotional development.
  • Ability to work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children.
  • Effective knowledge of the My Time, Our Place Framework.
  • Sound knowledge of ACEQUA Regulations and protocols.
  • Well-developed observation and reporting skills.
