Once again the PFA have had another busy and successful term with events for parents and children.
Mother’s Day Stall
Term 2 started off celebrating all the amazing Mothers/Grandmas in our community. With over 790 gifts purchased the week was a huge success and as always, the children loved choosing a perfect gift for their Mums. We hope that all the Mothers had a lovely day.
Thank you to the Year 4 representative Shannon Raniga and the Year 3 representatives Kellie Casserly and Olivia Cox for taking on the mammoth task of pre-purchasing the gifts and organising the event.
The Day of Extraordinary
At the end of May the school held their first ever Giving Day …The Day of Extraordinary. The PFA were happy to kick off the day with a free breakfast for the school community which did not disappoint! We bookended the day with one of our much-loved Afternoon BBQ’s which was a sell out!
Thank you to everyone who volunteered throughout the day.
Student Disco
On a Thursday night just before the June long weekend, volunteers turned the gym into a disco… The children were extremely excited, and it was the talk around the playground in the week leading up to it.
It was lovely to see everyone dressed up in their party outfits and dance the night away. A huge thank you to Bec Stevens, Shannon Raniga, Jess Hodges, Suzy Donnellan, Kellie Casserly, Mel Taylor and Sasha Grosset for bringing the night together.
The night would not have gone ahead without the help from staff and the 40+ volunteers. We hope your ears have stopped ringing!
Save the date
Term 3 is all about the Dad’s…save the date for the Dad’s Day out at Weber Grill Academy, Saturday the 26th August.
