Footy Fever, Sweet Treats, Gifts & More
Mother’s Day Stall
We kicked off Term 2 with a heartwarming celebration—our much-loved Mother’s Day Stall! The students did a fantastic job selecting special gifts for their mums, grandmothers, and loved ones, with over 780 presents sold. It was wonderful to see so much excitement and thoughtfulness from the students.
A massive thank you goes to Tania Yeowart, Jennifer Phelan, Hayley Mudge, Bec Stevens, and Shannon Raniga for taking on the enormous task of sourcing the gifts and running the stall with their band of volunteers. We hope every present was well received.
Footy Fever and Sweet Treats
With the AFL season in full swing, we embraced the spirit of the game and showed our team colours with a delicious treat—Balfour’s donuts—on the Friday before the big Showdown.
An impressive 419 donuts were delivered to classrooms, bringing big smiles to many happy students. A huge thanks to Jess Hodges and her team of volunteers for making the day such a sweet success! Keep your eyes on Audiri for the next Showdown Donut Day!
Making a Difference: PFA Contributions
The Parents and Friends Association has had a busy and impactful year so far. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our volunteers and community support, the PFA has contributed to:
- The purchase of choir risers – showcased during the White Shirt Day coffee morning and at the Tuesday chapel services—helping our talented choir sound better than ever!
- The refurbishment of the chicken coop – a much-anticipated upgrade!
- Event volunteering – their generosity of time to make so many events successful. Just this term they helped with Grandparents Day, weekly Monday and Saturday BBQs and Donut Day, which are just a few highlights that brought our community together.
- Funding new soccer goals – the PFA are currently fundraising at our soccer home game BBQs to help purchase new soccer goals..
Thank You
We’re so grateful to Renee Widger and Hayley Mudge for their fantastic work coordinating these BBQs at Saturday soccer home games.
If you’d like to help out by volunteering at a Monday afternoon BBQ or a Saturday home game, please ensure your volunteer clearance is up to date and email the PFA to get involved.
What’s Next?
Keep your eyes on Audiri for upcoming events, including our Mum’s Night Out and Dad’s Night Out—both set to return next term. You won’t want to miss them!
