A Night of Celebration for the Graduating Class of 2023
The picturesque Nutter Thomas Lawn set the stage for a memorable celebration evening for our graduating class of 2023, bringing together students, parents, and staff for a night of reflection and celebration. This fully catered sit-down dinner is a wonderful occasion to celebrate the end of our Year 6 students primary school journey and for some families, their own journey at St Peter’s Woodlands saying farewell after being a part of our community….some for over 20 years!
The much loved tradition of the group photo and the always entertaining year level dance with energetic and fantastic choreography by Ms Maddi Honor, Year 6 teacher, kicked off the night.
Students were presented with their symbolic SPW Memory Box which is filled with goodies donated for students to enjoy and remember SPW. As each student was presented with their memory box, their favourite memory from SPW was read much to the delight of the staff and families.
The night ended with a boogie in the Chapel with many crowd favourite songs played and some interesting dance moves. Before saying goodbye, a highlight reel of photos taken throughout the year was played, a lovely final touch to a wonderful evening.
From the heartwarming moments captured in the fun photo booth to the symbolic SPW Memory Box presentations, every element of the graduation dinner and formal was a wonderful and celebratory commemoration of the end of the Year 6 students’ primary school journey. As they embark on their new adventures in high school, the St Peter’s Woodlands community eagerly anticipates the Class of 2023 reunion next year. We look forward to hearing about the exciting chapters unfolding in each student’s life.
