Getting involved in your school

One of the best ways to get more out of your relationship with St Peter’s Woodlands is to participate as a volunteer. This also indicates to your child how much you value their school.

We have dozens of parents, grandparents and old scholars who assist the school with meaningful unpaid work: from listening to reading, assisting with uniform sales to working in the canteen and library or assisting on excursions.

We therefore require all of our volunteers to sign a volunteer agreement that includes your qualifications and experience, two character references and a commitment to undergo a Working With Children Check and undertake the online Child Protection Training for Volunteers.

All volunteers receive an induction handbook and induction training where necessary.
