Join us in Celebrating 100 Years of Education

St Peter’s Woodlands in partnership with the St Peter’s Woodlands Old Scholars’ Association warmly invite you to celebrate the rich history of 39 Partridge Street, Glenelg – the beautiful grounds which has been the home of education, imagination and wonder for children over the past 100 years. Woodlands CEGGS 1923-1998 and St Peter’s Woodlands 1999-2023.

Across the year, St Peter’s Woodlands will host events to celebrate the schools that have inhabited the grounds and provided students with a nurturing environment in which to grow, learn and form important life-long friendships. We welcome you to join us in honouring our schools.

Celebrating 100 Years Events and Activities

Throughout the year we will be celebrating 100 years in many ways. We hope you will join us and take the opportunity to reconnect with the school grounds, classmates and revisit those treasured memories from your school days.

Back to School Event Invite

St Peter’s Woodlands in partnership with the St Peter’s Woodlands Old Scholars’ Association warmly invite you to the 100 Year Celebration Back to School Event at St Peter’s Woodlands.

Saturday 21 October, 3.30pm – 6.00pm on the grounds of St Peter’s Woodlands

The day will be an opportunity for all Woodlands’ old scholars to come together at St Margaret’s Chapel to enjoy nibbles and drinks and reconnect with old classmates. There will also be school tours available throughout the afternoon, memorabilia from Woodlands’ school days, a performance by the St Peter’s Woodlands Chapel Choir, artwork from SPW students, and a sneak peek of the Elaine Balfour-Ogilvy Memorial.

Tickets

Your all inclusive $30 ticket secures you a drink and nibbles, plus a commemorative glass in honour of the 100 Year Celebration. You will have the choice of either a barista made coffee and biscuit or wine/champagne and cheese, please make your selection when purchasing your ticket. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional drinks on the day should you wish to.
