A welcome from our Principal, Mrs Helen Finlay
Welcome to St Peter’s Woodlands, where we passionately believe in the importance of quality early years and primary education to prepare students for life-long learning.
Through truly knowing and appreciating the uniqueness of every child in our care, we aim to instil a sense of joy, wonder, curiosity and purpose in every child.
As an Anglican school our values are underpinned by the long-held Christian faith of this school. As such, we are a school that prides itself on fostering a caring, respectful and inclusive community where your child will feel truly known, accepted and have a unique sense of belonging.
St Peter’s Woodlands has a strong sense of community. We firmly believe in the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and endeavour to form genuine partnerships with our parents and caregivers. With plenty of opportunities to gather, life long bonds are formed, not only between our children, but between our adult community members too. This is part of what makes St Peter’s Woodlands extraordinary.
The staff at St Peter’s Woodlands are a group of passionate, caring and dedicated professionals committed to seeing children thrive, giving them firm academic foundations as well as the opportunities to develop their whole-self, whilst discovering their spirituality, creativity and passions. Our teaching methodology is rooted firmly in robust contemporary educational research and our wellbeing programs acknowledge the importance of developing character traits that will set them up for success in their schooling and life beyond.
I look forward to meeting you soon. I warmly invite you to attend an upcoming school tour to learn more about the extraordinary learning opportunities here at St Peter’s Woodlands.
