Developing the leaders of tomorrow
Throughout their time at St Peter’s Woodlands, all children are considered leaders and are given opportunities to develop their leadership skills.
Buddy up
Across our primary school, children participate in Buddy Classes, where older students engage with younger children to build quality relationships. In Year 5, students conduct a Peer Support Program with junior primary students, helping to develop social skills and the necessary attributes to run small group learning.
Student leadership
St Peter’s Woodlands offers leadership programs for Year 5 and Year 6 students, where children are given the opportunity to represent their class, lead their house, or represent the school at external functions and events. These opportunities include engaging in Student Service Leadership Council, running for House Captains or School Captains.
