Celebrating Mothers, Disco Dancing and a date for the calendar!
Mother’s Day Stall
Term 2 started off celebrating all the amazing Mothers and Grandmas in our community. With a record breaking 830 gifts purchased throughout the week, it was a huge success. As always, the children loved choosing a perfect gift for their Mums. We hope all the Mothers had a lovely day.
A massive thank you to Shannon Raniga for taking on the mammoth task of pre-purchasing the gifts and organising the event, with the help from the Year 4 representatives Kellie Casserly and Olivia Cox.
Student Disco
On the Thursday night before the June long weekend volunteers transformed the Gym into a disco. The children were extremely excited, and it was the talk around the playground in the weeks leading up to it.
It was lovely to see everyone dressed up in their party outfits and dance the night away with the help of the Amazing Magic Mike as their DJ.
A huge thank you to Heather Chatterton, Shannon Raniga, Jessica Hodges, and Bec Stevens for bringing the night together. The night would not have gone ahead without the help from staff and the 40+ volunteers. We hope your ears have stopped ringing!
