The PFA had a fantastic Term 2 with a couple of its most loved events!
This term was about the Mums in our community…. Don’t worry Dads your turn is coming in Term 3!
Mother’s Day Stall
During the first week of Term 2 the PFA held our annual Mother’s Day Stall where children from ELC to Year 6 had the opportunity to select a gift for their mother, grandmother or special person.
A huge thank you to Christie Thompson, Shannon Raniga and Mel Taylor for taking on the mammoth task and to all of the other volunteers who assisted with the set-up and stalls during the week. Seeing the children carefully select a gift for their loved one is all worth it.
“Pinot and Picasso” Mum’s Day Out
Week 7, saw 100 ladies let their inner Picasso come alive! It was an afternoon filled with fun and a whole lot of laughter as everyone tried their hand at painting a gorgeous protea flower.
Thank you to the Glenelg Football Club for their hospitality and to Pinot and Picassos Glenelg for turning everyone into artists for the day!
A big thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and to Brighton Foodland, Simply Natural Massage Therapy, Everyday Women Makeup, Mel Taylor and Jessica Hodges who donated the amazing raffle prizes.
We definitely have some very talented ladies within our community!
