We are thrilled to announce that St Peter’s Woodlands has been recognised as a Sun Smart school.

Ensuring our children are educated on how to protect themselves against the harsh Australian sun is of huge importance. Outdoor Education features a lot in the SPW curriculum, therefore it is vital students participate in these activities safely.

By becoming a Sun Smart school teachers and students have the resources to readily put into practice the ways to protect the body from damaging UV rays.

Updating our policies and practices in line with the Cancer Council Australia Sun Smart criteria provides the students with a solid foundation to making these practices habitual, even beyond the school gates.
