As Term 1 draws to a close, we are so proud of the way our PFA has once again brought our community together with warmth, generosity and a wonderful sense of fun.
From shared breakfasts and special events to meaningful contributions to school life, it has been a joy to see families connecting, supporting one another, and creating memorable experiences for our children. None of this happens without the time, energy and spirit of our incredible volunteers—thank you for helping make our school such a vibrant and welcoming place.
Shrove TuesdayÂ
We flipped into the new school year in the best way possible—with over 750 pancakes for everyone! The smiles (and sticky fingers!) said it all. A huge thank you to our Year 6 PFA Representatives, Lorraine Hanley and Suzy Donnellan, and their amazing team of volunteers for making it such a fun and delicious start to the term.
Clean Up Australia DayÂ
While the weather had other plans and we couldn’t go ahead with Clean Up Australia Day, the donuts were still a hit! They were happily enjoyed at our Monday afternoon BBQ—because no good donut should go to waste!
Free Coffee, Chats & Ideas!
Great music and free coffee—what more could you want? The Chapel Choir performance was a wonderful way to bring the community together.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along, shared their ideas, and provided valuable feedback to the PFA—we truly appreciate your input and support. It was so lovely to see families, including our ELC parents, enjoying a relaxed morning of music, coffee, and connection.
Well done to the Chapel Choir on a fantastic performance!
Parents’ Night UpdateÂ
Unfortunately, due to low ticket sales, we made the difficult decision to cancel the Parents’ Night event. While this was disappointing, we truly appreciate the support shown by those who had planned to attend and booked tickets.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to bring our community together in other ways! We’ll be hosting a Mum’s Day Out and a Dad’s Burger & Beer Night later in the year—stay tuned for more details.
Easter DelightsÂ
Our Easter Raffle was bigger and better than ever! With fantastic prizes including vouchers for Plaster Fun House and Yo- Chi, chocolates, and Easter goodies, there was plenty of excitement in the air. Congratulations to all our lucky winners (with a special mention to Mrs Warner—enjoy those Haigh’s chocolates!). A big thank you to our Year 2 Representatives, Caroline Foreman and Jessie Vun, for organising such a wonderful raffle.
Reception Easter Egg HuntÂ
What an overload of cuteness to fill the afternoon! 62 Reception students had a wonderful time exploring Partridge House Garden, racing around in search of hidden Easter eggs. The smiles and excitement made it truly special. A huge thank you to our Reception PFA Representatives, Michelle Costello, Reji Nair, and Jessie Hurst, for bringing the event together.
Coming UpÂ
We’re excited for Term 2 and all the wonderful events ahead—starting with celebrating the amazing mums in our community! Our much-loved Mother’s Day Stall will run in Week 2, giving students from ELC to Year 6 the chance to choose special gifts for their loved ones. Be sure to purchase early to be in the draw for a Mother’s Day Prize Pack valued over $250!! Keep an eye on Audiri for more details!
PFA Purchases for the SchoolÂ
Thanks to the support of our wonderful community, the PFA has been able to contribute to some fantastic additions for the school. This includes new outdoor tables and chairs—perfect for events like Grandparents Day, Cabaret, pre-show refreshments, and coffee mornings—as well as funding the Year 6 DARE Artist in Residence program in collaboration with a visiting artist.
