Term 3 PFA Wrap Up

29 September 2023

Something for the Dads, the Mums, and the kids!

Dads Day Out
We kicked off Term 3 with the Dads Day Out hosted by Weber Grill Academy. A total of 57 Dads spent the sunny afternoon perfecting their BBQ skills and connecting with other Dads.
A big thanks to Chris Morley for organising the event which was a huge success and raised just over $2,500!

Father’s Day Breakfast
On the same day as the Book Week parade, the PFA hosted our Father’s Day Breakfast with ham and cheese croissants, assorted sweet muffins and juices. It was lovely to see people taking photos at the photo wall, having a kick of a footy and grabbing a coffee.

A huge thank you to our Year 5 PFA representative, Christie Thompson and her team of volunteers, Jess Hodges, Tania Yeowart, Heidee Merkel and Lara Bajko for preparing and cooking all before the sun came up. We hope all the fathers had a lovely Father’s Day!

Monday BBQs
Our Monday afternoon BBQs have been very successful and sometimes with complete sell outs. We hope you are enjoying the spontaneous extra items available, such as the Magnums and muffins.

Mums High Tea
Finally, we ended the term with a fun filled Mums High Tea at the Grand Hotel. Complete with live music by Kyan and Jazz, a photobooth by Photobooth and Co, a fantastic silent auction including beautiful art works created by students from each year level and a raffle.

The day was a huge success and a great chance for the Mums to let their hair down! A massive thank you to Bec Stevens for organising the event so seamlessly and to all the businesses and families who donated items for the silent auction and raffle.

Term 4
We are looking forward to a fabulous Term 4 with Christmas on the Green, the Christmas Raffle and the much loved whole school Christmas Lunch.
