A Fun-Filled Celebration of Christmas!
Term 4 has been a wonderful and festive time at St Peter’s Woodlands, as we’ve come together to celebrate all things Christmas. From singing carols to enjoying festive feasts, the spirit of the season has been alive and well throughout our school community!
One of the highlights was Christmas on the Green, a beautiful evening that brought families together to sing carols and enjoy a picnic. It was a lovely way to kick off the Christmas celebrations and really showcased the sense of community we share. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the delicious treats donated to the PFA Bake Stall, helping the PFA cover the cost of the sound and lighting for the night.
The PFA Art Silent Auction was another success story, raising a fantastic $2,230! These funds will go toward adding more bike and scooter racks at the school, encouraging our children to ride to and from school more frequently. We are incredibly grateful for the support of all who participated and bid in the auction – your generosity is truly making a difference.
The Kyton’s Christmas Run, organized by Christie Thompson and a team of volunteers, was another big hit. We hope everyone enjoyed the delicious treats on offer!
This year’s annual Whole School Christmas Lunch was a wonderful occasion. Despite the warm weather, the Christmas spirit was in full swing! A massive thank you to Bec Stevens and Suzy Donnellan for taking on the monumental task of organizing this event. The children had a blast enjoying their festive lunchboxes and icy poles, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter.
Congratulations to all the Christmas Raffle winners! We hope you enjoy your vouchers and goodies. Special thanks to Amy Goodgame and Therese McNicol for creating such a fantastic raffle, adding extra excitement to the season.
Finally, the ELC Christmas Brunch was a magical way to wrap up the term. Held on a Tuesday morning, it was filled with excitement, festive cheer, and beautiful singing. The highlight of the morning was a surprise visit from Santa and his little elf, making the event even more special for the little ones.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making Term 4 such a memorable and festive time. Your support and participation in all of these events have made this term truly special for our school community. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
