Giving up in order to give
In Lent we traditionally practise the discipline of “giving up something to give”.
As SPW marks its 20th anniversary, part of celebrating who we are is remembering our history.
School and parish church: What’s that about?
SPW has identified as one of its strategic objectives “to explore on-going connections with St Peter’s Glenelg (SPG)”.
On Tuesday in Week 3 the PFA prepare pancakes for each class, and on Thursday in Chapel we mark Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent.
AnglicareSA has thanked the SPW community for its generous donations to the 2017 Christmas Hamper Appeal.
With Advent beginning in December, Mother Julia led the children at SPW in a special Advent Chapel Service.
Can you join us in bringing hope to those who need it most this festive season?
Each year, AnglicareSA provides Christmas gift hampers to hundreds of disadvantaged individuals and families.
SPW supports AnglicareSA because it is the Anglican Church of Adelaide’s main “service organisation”. It is also the leading provider of social services in South Australia.
