Another Incredible Term with Our PFA

Mother’s Day Stall 
Term 2 started with a wonderful celebration of all the amazing mothers, grandmothers and special loved ones in our community. The Mother’s Day Stall was a huge success and, as always, the children loved choosing the perfect gift for someone special. We hope all our mothers and loved ones enjoyed a lovely and well-deserved day.

A huge thank you to Shannon Raniga for taking on the enormous task of sourcing and purchasing the gifts and coordinating the event, along with a fantastic team of volunteers. Your hard work and dedication made the stall possible.

Showdown Donuts
The much-anticipated Showdown between Port Adelaide and the Crows brought plenty of excitement, and what better way to show team colours than with donuts! We hope all the children enjoyed the treat and that supporters of both teams had plenty to cheer about. A huge thank you to Jess Hodges and her team of volunteers for organising and distributing the donuts.

Sports Day Merchandise 
Sports Day is always a highlight of the school calendar, with students proudly dressing in their house colours and showing great team spirit. This year, the PFA added to the excitement by offering a range of Sports Day merchandise, including socks, sweatbands, capes and even tutus! Thank you to Heather Chatterton for organising the merchandise sales, and to everyone who purchased items and supported the initiative. It was fantastic to see so much colour and enthusiasm on the day. Congratulations to Light House for taking out the win!

Community Opening
The much-anticipated Community Opening of the Dr Pamela Wall Centre was held on a wintry Friday evening. Despite the cold weather, the event was filled with a wonderful atmosphere beneath twinkling lights, and it was fantastic to see the Centre officially opened and showcased in all its glory.

A sincere thank you to our volunteers who generously gave their time to assist behind the bar throughout the evening. Your support helped make the event a great success.

The PFA looks forward to Term 3’s events, including:

• Dad’s Burger and Beer Night – Friday 31 July
• Mum’s Day Out – Saturday 8 August
• Father’s Day Breakfast – Friday 4 September.
