PFA Wrap Up

14 April 2022

The PFA had a rocky start to the year with COVID-19 difficulties, but they definitely made up for it in the latter half of this term.

Shrove Tuesday
For yet another year, Suzanne McAdam and her team of volunteers prepared, cooked and delivered over 800 pancakes to the children and staff to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.

The pancakes are always well received, with lots of delighted faces. Thank you to all the volunteers involved.

Easter Raffle
A huge congratulations to all our winners in our Easter Raffle. Many thanks to Suzy Donnellan and the Year 2 parent volunteers for putting together the yummy prizes!

In addition to the Easter raffle, the PFA organised an Easter egg for every student in the school. We hope they were enjoyed by all!

Kyton’s Easter Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who purchased items in the Kyton’s Easter Fundraiser.

Thank you, Christie Thompson, for co-ordinating the fundraiser and to our other volunteers Sasha Cook, Kiki Fu and Sarah King for delivering the delicious items to the classrooms.

Just over $960 was generated by this event to support PFA initiatives. A special congratulation to Lewis from 1AD for winning the Kyton’s gift pack for the highest number of sales.

Monday Afternoon BBQ’s
After a delayed start we are delighted to relaunch the Monday Afternoon BBQ’s!

Come and grab a sausage or two next term!

Upcoming Event – Mother’s Day Stall
This year our Annual PFA Mother’s Day Stall will be held in the first week back of Term 2. Children from ELC to Year 6 will have the opportunity to select a special gift for Mum/Loved one.

Be sure to check SkoolBag for all the details on pre-purchasing gifts via Qkr!
