Volunteers play a vital role at SPW and we are truly always appreciative of their contribution.

Our Volunteer database is made up of parents/caregivers, grandparents, Old Scholars and some of the St Peter’s Church Parish. If other members of your family would like to be involved, they are welcome.

Becoming a Volunteer at SPW

To become a registered SPW volunteer, please read the Volunteer Information Booklet and then complete the Volunteer Agreement Form. Both the booklet and the form can be obtained from Front Office or downloaded from the SPW website here.

To help in the classroom, canteen, excursions, incursions or in any other capacity it is a requirement that you are a registered SPW volunteer. SPW volunteers must have a Working With Children Clearance (WWCC) and completed the RAN (Response to Abuse and Neglect) online course. All the information about these requirements are in the Volunteer Information Booklet.

This process can take up to 4 weeks to complete, so we encourage people interested in volunteering to begin this process early. If you already have one or both of these documents, you will be approved as a volunteer within a few days.

Once this process is complete, the volunteer can then begin to assist with school activities. It is lovely to see the children so excited because a member of the family is involved in their school community.

Canteen Volunteers are always welcome

The canteen is looking for volunteers to help with recess and lunch time preparation. Lunch is provided!
